Chemical Peels & Facials

Chemical peels are a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to exfoliate dead skin cells and stimulate cellular renewal. As the skin regenerates, it is rejuvenated. Peels can be used to minimise fine lines and wrinkles, treat sun damaged skin, uneven skin tone, large clogged pore, hyperpigmentation (age spots, discoloration and uneven skin tones), acne and cystic acne. Chemical peels can be done at different depths— depending on your desired results determined with a complimentary consultation with one of the Revive Nurses. Each type of chemical peel uses a different chemical solution. Deeper chemical peels produce more- dramatic results, but also involve longer recovery times.

MANDATORY - you must be willing to use sunscreen every day post peel

F.A.Q

  • During your complimentary consultation, we will discuss your skin type and goals to determine the peel best suited for your individual skin care needs.

  • Improve fine lines, sun damage, blackheads, large clogged pores, acne marks & scars, age spots hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone.

  • You’ll experience a warm and tingly sensation, almost like a mild sunburn! If you feel any pain at all, we neutralise the peel.

  • Good things take time - beautiful skin being one of them! Treatments will initially result in bright and radiant skin but significant results take time… When treating fine lines, acne marks, texture issues, and sun damage, several treatments and adherence to a home skin care regimen are required. Since results are 40% peels & 60% home regimen, consistent home skin care will aid in achieving optimal results.

  • 45 minutes - 1 hour.

We finish the peel with our Nourishing Freeze Mask.

  • As mentioned, initially you’ll see immediate bright and radiant skin. But it’s important to remember your skin takes 30-45 days to fully turn over! Be patient!

  • Post-procedure you can experience some redness - again appearing like a sunburn. This can last 30 minutes to 12 hours post peel. Depending on the peel, you can start to flake around day 3-4. Follow your provided post-care instructions for optimal healing.
